Caught you on KLOS Heidi & Frank today, you sound amazing as usual! So awesome to hear your voice again! Makes me want to find my old CD’s of the Mark & Brian show, you were a big part of my life growing up and appreciate all the laughs & tears. You had me in tears this morning when you were so appreciative for being back on KLOS. Hope life is great and so is your family!
Hi Mark, I’m deciding on the audiobook and the hardcover. FYI, I still live in SoCal and listened to your zany 25 years, I’m one month older than you and retired from my job one month before you guys left. And I got my first dog not long after I retired (an Aussie Shepherd named Racer) it will be good to relive the adventures of Mark and Brian soon. Stay well my radio friend!
Just heard you on the radio, such a joy to hear your voice on LA radio again. Like many others, you got me through some tough days when my wife passed away in 2001. I’m not a pet guy, but my grown son is and in his and your honor I made a donation to the foundation today. Thanks for all those years on KLOS and The Sound and now your podcast. Say hey to Linda, the kids and the grandbabies. Their husband, dad and grandpa is something special!
I was hooked when you and Brian dipped yourselves in chocolate for Valentine’s Day. Then you chased the astrological guy off of KLOS 😀 Love you, miss you, and really looking forward to 10 hours of hearing you again.

Dear Mark,
My friend, it’s been a while for sure but I saw you on KTLA this morning hawking your book. If you remember you guys got me to jump off the top deck of the paddle wheeler into the frozen Columbia River on air. Feel free to reach out if you want. Looks like you are healthy and well. Cheers Roy
Got my four books on 12/2. They did not come with bookmarks and I am mildly disappointed because I have things to bookmark and measure. Went to the show with my wife on Saturday night and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Never made it to an M&B Christmas show so I’m happy to have attended this one. Thanks to everyone that clearly worked so hard on the show. And thanks to you Mark for writing this book.
Hi Mark! Just ordered my “Signed” Hardback (feel fancy) after seeing you on KTLA this morning . I was an AVID listener and was stoked to see you did a book. You will remember me only as The gal that sent you the 1956 Life Magazine with Elvis on the cover. ♥ My Best to you and Linda and the Kids and Happy Belated Birthday.
Mark,
Thank you. I moved from Savannah to LA in the summer of 1987, tuned into the rock station during my commute and couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my radio after Labor Day. I never changed the channel. Bought a radio and stuck it on my desk. I married and moved to Canyon Country and raised my two kids (well their mom did most of that). Thanks for your honesty, the radio magic and your example in this world.
Mark, was at the Theater last night it was wonderful! Great time, great cause! It was a delight like re connecting with a friend you have missed for years! Wonderful to see your family, the M&B family so gals all are doing well! Having just a brief moment of your voice and shenanigans back, well it’s something any 25 year listener of the Mark and Brian program misses more than you know!As you said, I, like many others can say that you can never possibly know all the moments you all have taken us through in lives. I wanted to say thank you!! You will always be so special in my heart! Can’t wait to listen to the book! Do more shows, we will come!!!
I’m not one of the original replaceable listeners, but I have been a listener since 2005. I migrated to the M&L Podcast right away and I am so glad I did. I wished I could have made it to one of the infamous Christmas shows. I now have secured my ticket to this fabulous event and I cannot wait to be there in person. Here I come Saban!! See y’all there!
Timing is everything! I listened from day one when Rita introduced you two. I sent you that spanking story that started a bit and got me in so much trouble with my ex! Moved away to Oregon but a recently planned trip to buy a wedding dress for my daughter who is my +1 brings me home to LA! Thank you, thank you for bringing the show together!
I’ve been listening to old shows in the archives. Bring back great memories and still super funny! Do you know where I can listen to more? I’d like to hear their first show and the show in 1994 on January 17th. Thank you for your help in advance! Hooty Hoo!!
Soooo excited for this night!!! Thank you for doing this!!! Even if it is just you and your family telling jokes and funny pictures of the past, it will kick ass!!! Ummmm also, just in case you don’t know ; Steve Perry is promoting a new Christmas song😃 Ya never know, maybe he is free that night😍
Thanks for doing this Mark. I got my ticket. Row 5 up front. It was super easy to purchase.
I never got to go to any of the M&B Christmas Shows so I am very excited to be going to this event.
Now there will be a 20 minute intermission Nap Time right? After all the theater will be filled with the GEEZ Generation. 🥱😴😳
See Ya at the Saban ✌🏻

Gotta go for the Soft or Hard cover (can’t decide) and the Audio. Come on why would anyone in their right mind not buy the audio? You’re the R.G.
